Continuing with the sports celebrity theme and accompanying the already established Cricketing legend Freddie Flintoff, high street retailer Jacamo has announced Welsh international rugby star Dan Biggar as the face of their Autumn/Winter fashion campaign.
Jacamo, the outfitter that claims to fit men in sizes from small to 5XL and caters for 500,000 customers, while refusing to adopt a ‘one size fits all’ approach, instead focusing on clothes that fit and flatter, making shopping for fashion easy and enjoyable – regardless of size or shape. The brand also focus on trend-led pieces such as checked shirts, suits and also the basics, including plain white t-shirts, hoodies and jackets.
Tackling a different kind of challenge, The Ospreys fly-half, 26, will look to kick the menswear retailer’s Autumn/Winter 2016 campaign in the right direction, while also helping to promote body diversity and confidence. Dan Biggar says:
Confidence is a massive part of success – in terms of rugby, sport and life in general. Being a rugby player, it can be a struggle to find clothes that fit so I was buzzing when I saw what a wide range of sizes and styles Jacamo offers. In my job, I don’t get much time to spend time on clothes so I absolutely loved being a part of the Jacamo shoot and picking up some tips on what to pair with what.
Dan, the youngest player to reach 100 caps for the Ospreys, also won the BBC Cymru Sports Personality of the Year Award at the end of 2015. Spokesperson Jenni Bamford, for Jacamo, also added:
Dan’s winning attitude and inspirational drive felt like the perfect fit for this campaign. Our aim is to help men of all shapes and sizes find clothes that fit and flatter – we hope everyone agrees how great Dan looks in his pics from the shoot as evidence of this!
