It’s been five years since Herschel Supply launched their first collection of heritage inspired products and now the global accessories brand, have unveiled their latest innovation ApexKnit™ – and their first trademarked fabric.
The premier bag collection featuring an assortment of silhouettes. The unique woven technology has been able to seamlessly blend design and innovation – intersecting modern form with function and utility.
ApexKnit™ uses a high-tensile yarn and minimal construction seams which mean zero limitations. Lyndon and I are extremely proud of the final product” says Herschel Supply Co-Founder, Jamie Cormack. Forged rubber, dual-density EVA infused padding and premium seatbelt webbing adjusters are among the unique finishes that adorn each piece. Featured in a Vessel Grey spectral tone, durable and tactile fabric is applied to the newly-designed Dayton and contoured Lawson backpacks, as well as the versatile Network pouch. By carefully calculating yarn density and pull strength, a slight stretch is realized without compromising the intended shape of each piece.
Herschel Supply’s innovative and tactile ApexKnit™ fabric is created from densely woven 600D high-tensile yarn, offering a slight stretch while still maintaining its intended form. ApexKnit™ technology minimizes the need for visible construction seams, offering a progressive aesthetic with limitless potential.
The internal features combine functionality and design and this is defined within each backpack silhouette. Integrated features include neoprene padded laptop and tablet sleeves, along with mesh organisers.
The ApexKnit™ collection ranges from £45 – £180, and will be launched in a limited quantity release available exclusively at ApexKnit.HerschelSupply.com
