One of the greatest footballing legends of all time Zinedine Zidane has joined the line-up of sportsmen that have posed for Mango Man. Zizuo, the nickname given to him by his team on the field, replaces the Dutch model Mark Vanderloo who, alongside Clement Chabernaud, starred in the campaign for the Autumn/Winter 2014 season. With an International Career for France spanning 12 years between 1994-2006 and 108 caps, 31 goals to his repetoire. The former attacking midfielder for Juventus and Real Madrid player is regarded as a genius in the game and is compared to the worlds greatest including Pele, Diego Maradona and Lionel Messi and is a great signing for the Spanish retail giant. Zidane is the current coach of Real Madrid Castilla.
About the current collaboration with Mango Man, Zinedine Zidane, 42, affirmed:
Mango chose me to work with them and I am delighted because it is a brand I identify with. Also, I really enjoyed the campaign shoot and I was treated really well”. On his sporting career, he commented: “I have given up playing and now I am a manager, a totally different profession. It is very nice to train my family (laughs) and I’m very demanding with them
On the new offerings of the collection, Zinedine Zidane commented:
The outfits are cool and the garments are good quality. It is great to be able to dress elegantly at an affordable price”. Regarding his dress style, he said: “When wearing clothes my priority is for the garments to look good on me and for me to feel comfortable in them.
Mango have 240 stores 42 in countries including Spain, Germany, France, Holland, Italy, the United Kingdom, Poland, Russia, Singapore, Mexico and Chile, among others. During 2014, the brand has added over 90 stores to its store network. The forecast for 2015 is to open 100 new stores.
