For anyone who missed it, it was indeed Australia day last week, a day that marks the anniversary of the 1788 arrival of the first fleet of British Ships at Port Jackson, New South Wales and the raising of the raising of the flag of great Britain at Sydney Cove but it was also on this day last week, that renowned Australian bootmaker R.M.Williams opened it’s first Saloon pop-up store in Shoreditch, in the heart of East London.
The Saloon will stock the full range of R.M.Williams’ iconic Craftsman boots, together with additional footwear styles and a comprehensive selection of the brand’s apparel, outerwear, and accessories, including small leather goods, hand-plaited belts and Akubra hats. The full Bespoke Service for both men and women will also be available.
As well as being a hub for discovering the world of R.M.Williams through their archive, the store has a myriad of beautiful aerial photography, and the Saloon are hosting a comprehensive schedule of events which includes:
A personalisation studio featuring a leather tattooist in-store offering free customisation with every purchase (today)
